JAMCO is the world's leading producer of advanced composite components for commercial aircraft using prepregs, in a process called Advanced Pultrusion (ADP). Our patented ADP technology is employed to manufacture stringers and stiffeners for tail fins on all Airbus aircraft. And JAMCO has been awarded the contract to produce upper deck floor cross beams as well as stringers and stiffeners for vertical stablizers on the new A380.

ADP employs a unique, continuous automated molding device that achieves the same strength as and higher quality than profiles produced by an autoclave. There is virtually no limit to the length of the profile produced by this process and perpendicular angles are extremely precise. This method is also significantly cheaper and delivery times are shorter.

Currently JAMCO supplies stringers and stiffeners for vertical stablizers on Airbus A300/310/320/330 and 340 series aircraft. We have been the sole, life-time supplier of such products since 2000.

ADP offers a wide variety of potential applications:

  • Laminated straight beams including Angled, I, Single-T, Double-T, Z and Hat cross sections for main deck floor beams, vertical/horizontal stabilizer reinforcements and wing box reinforcements;
  • Laminated curved beams; and
  • Lengthened honeycomb panels.

JAMCO is also able to supply integrated components.
