On February 23, 2015, JAMCO Aircraft Interiors Company held a ceremony to mark the completion of its material distribution center, which was announced in the press release entitled “JAMCO Concludes Land Contract With Niigata Prefecture and Niigata-Nakajo Core Industrial Park” dated April 23, 2014.

 

The ceremony was a great success, with more than 150 guests, clients, and construction and ceremony personnel in attendance.

 

With the increase in the production volume of the aircraft interiors business, there has been an accompanying growth in the amount of materials and parts that it handles. With a total floor area of 8,114.95 ㎡, the material distribution facility was built in order to efficiently supply parts between Niigata JAMCO Corporation, the primary manufacturing location responsible for final assembly processes, and contractors near Niigata. The facility begins operations on March 2, 2015 with a staff of 60 employees.
