It has been recently discovered that email spoofing is being carried out using the names of JAMCO Group companies and actual company executives.

We ask that you take extra caution with these spoofed emails that have no relation to the JAMCO Group by taking such steps as carefully verifying the sender’s email address before opening them.

Replying to these emails, which may contain content encouraging the recipient to respond, can put individual employees and the entire organization at risk of becoming a victim of wire fraud and phishing. There is also the possibility that security PINs and other sensitive information (including personal information) of the individual responding to such an email could be obtained by the sender and misused. As opening such emails may also put your organization at risk for infection with malware and viruses, we ask that you take extreme care when handling them.

If you receive these types of fraudulent emails, do not respond and immediately delete them.
