In September 2015, the JAMCO Group delivered the first shipment of their premium seat “Journey™” for the Airbus A350 XWB aircraft. Starting this January 25, 2016, the Latin American LATAM Airlines Group began operating their aircraft with these seats.
LATAM Airlines Group will introduce a total of 27 A350 XWB aircraft equipped with 30 premium business class seats “Journey™”.
In March 2012, Airbus approved JAMCO Corporation’s consolidated subsidiary, JAMCO AMERICA, INC., as an ACS (Airbus Contracted Supplier) premium business class seat supplier for the A350 XWB. The “Journey™”, which the JAMCO Group developed, designed, and manufactured, features the capability to transform into a full-flat bed through a simple mechanism, while the use of advanced materials has resulted in a lightweight and high-strength product.
The delivery of the “Journey™” premium seats has further enhanced JAMCO Corporation’s product offerings as a “total interior integrator” that enriches the entire aircraft cabin interior.
