TOKYO, Japan, October 28, 2014 – Jamco Corporation, a leader in aircraft interior products and services, held a signing ceremony today for its contract extension with Boeing, which was announced in a press release on September 5, 2014. In addition to continuing to provide interior products for the 777, 787, and other Boeing aircraft, Jamco will also begin supplying lavatories for the 777X.

 

Boeing welcomed Jamco as a supplier for the 777X, expressing confidence that Jamco’s contribution to the aircraft’s cabin design will also exceed expectations due to the company’s experience, technologies, efforts to continuously improve, and capacity to deliver high-quality lavatories, galleys, galley inserts, and 787 flight deck furnishings on schedule.

 

Jamco began supplying Boeing with lavatories in 1979 for its 767 aircraft. Since then, it continues to be the exclusive supplier for the 747, 777, and 787. The company looks forward to the conclusion of this contract as an opportunity to establish a deeper collaborative relationship over the long-term as a Boeing partner.
